Will this dpf delete work?

Ok i can buy just a delete pipe and sims from rsd for about $299.00 or a 5.9l 5" tbe system for $279.00 plus $40.00 for sims for a total of 319.00 and all i would have to do is weld in one bung for 02 sensor correct? Reason for this is im having to delete a little at a time due to money!!! So with the 5" exhaust all i will need to do is add a xrt or smarty at a later date! Will this work?

Just weld in two o2 bungs in the good old 5 inch and use the sims. Of course you will get codes and a CEL but no regen cycles.
