Result of Thread 4-HI Launch!
The 4-HI launch thread I posted a few days ago was in reference to a 0-60 race bet I made against a 04 Mustang GT (manual). Well I took the majority opinion and left it in 4wd the whole time. Long story short, the mustang DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE! It wasn't even a race, it was an embarrassment for him . I guess he wanted to redeem himself so we ran a good long run of Hwy 541. Well that did not end so well for him either. I stayed out front from 0-120 ish (pegged out spedo). Afterwords his co-pilot told me I needed to check my truck for problems Quote "it was smoking REAL bad" ![]()

Does the XRT remove the speed limiter? If not, you are limited to 105 mph.

I'll know for sure once my 6.7 arrives here in Germany, but when I asked the Cummins reps, they all were in agreement that 105 mph was the limiter for emissions reasons. Granted, that was on the 5.9, but I don't see any reason they would change the limiter for the 6.7's emissions testing, especially since they are considered "green" diesels. Most speedometers read 10-15% faster than your actual speed traveled, so that would place the "118" at about 103 mph.

Last week myself and two of my buddies were eating lunch. One buddy has a truck just like mine same mods, the other buddy has a 200? chevy with a supercharger (awesome truck by the way) He said his truck would beat mine easy and I said he was stupid. Well then he said too bad we are both in my truck or we could find out. My other buddy smiling said " I will race you, I have the exact same truck". Anyways we pulled out of the restaurant pulled onto the freeway, I was in the chevy with the loudmouth. My buddy pulls up next to us in his dodge and we take off. Well the Dodge took off the chevy just made a bunch of noise and it seemed like we were in reverse he left us so bad. Now my other buddy wants a Diesel, He could not believe how bad he lost.
