Why do you guys not band together ?

In my quest for the truth, I exploited another resource. myCarStats: Auto Recalls - Reports on file: 15,528. Plus Car Ratings and other Car Reports..

I added my truck under 2009 RAM 2500 Quadcab 4x4, 2009 RAM 2500, 2009 RAM 2500 Quadcab
I searched for complaints .... I found a single complaint .. had to do with steering. Nothing at all about EGR, SOOT, WATER, DPF ....

I cant help but wonder why ? I certainly dont doubt that these issues are truly a concern...much like the 4.7 and 5.7 stalling issue and wobbly seats ...

What I dont understand is why those having problems dont post where it counts.... collectively. To be honest, not see any numbers at all make me question how wide spread the issue really is ...

I haven't had a single problem. There was 2 recals, one on a steering part and the other is the wiper motor but I didn't have a problem. The 2007.5s did have a very bad start but I really think dodge & Cummins have it figured out now. I hope mine continues to be problem free.

I for one have little to complain about. My truck has been good with just a defective clock spring for airbag and various tire pressure problems. In terms of making it DPF EGR free I am still waiting for a solid trouble free performer. That will come in time when I got more money than I know what to do with. Milage to date 25K

I bought my 2007 this past June and have had no problems at all with it. The dealer had recently flashed the ECM with the latest upgrades from Dodge, as posted on the easy to find stickers under the hood, and all has been well. The CarFax report shows the only 'repair' was for a 35000 mile service, no other problems from the previous owner who apparently only used it for highway driving.

No complaints. I beleive the early problems were due to the early tunes on the ECM. When Dodge realized that tune didn't work well with the DPF and other emission stuff they made adjustments and fixed the problem. But, from what I have read not everyone had the problems, just enough for Dodge to take notice and correct things.

I'll complain. Truck went in couple times 4 turbo and 02 issues. Been running good a few thousand miles but now once a week I get the P2262 code. Service center won't accept my truck unless the code is present and as always the code goes away after a few cycles.

I just fixed the problem myself. Just like alot of the other guys on here.

I know that we shouldnt have to fix a brand new truck, but aloto of us dont have the time to have our truck sit in the shop for days on end month after month. So it is actually cheaper to fix it for good ourselves. But I get where you are coming from.

did the best thing and deleted everything, have never had a problem and love my truck now, i hate the dealers all of them, i always feel like i just got focked when i walk out the door, well now with the deletes no dealer will fock me! All the brands need upgrades to be where any gear head wants it to be the 6.7 in my book will be cheaper to get the horsepower and torque numbers we crave, and the most reliable in the long run!

There are no problems, only solutions. Dodge and Cummins has found the solutions, my truck, 2009, is trouble free.

If you go to the same webiste and enter in 2007 there are 14 reports of DPF, turbo problems....from what I read and people I talk to the new flashes have helped things out a whole lot but it hasent solved it all together just yet, you never know if you will be a lucky one! I just hope dodge gets it figured out 100% in the next few years before I am due for a new one!
