best deletes and programers?

my truck is almost out of warranty and im shopping for the best deleats and programers. i just calculated my milage to find out its barely 14 mpg. my '97 12 valve gets 20. i am looking for two things.

1) a motor that will last at least 350,000 miles
2) at least 18 mpg

where can i find some info on how the deletes work. i may build my own and need to find the best way to go about it.

thanks in advance
ryan

I was getting about 430 a tank before the Deletes and programmer in my sig. Now I get 580-620 depending on how fast I drive.

I am using a Smarty and see the rest in my sig. The best I have gotten for mileage on my truck so far is 16.97 MPG. Normally I see around 14 to 15 MPG, this is a combination of 70/30%, city and highway driving. All my fuel mileage is hand calculated, not from the overhead.
Now I would also consider that a 6.7L truck would tend to use more fuel then an older 12V engine in a truck. The horsepower is more, thus this will use more fuel. The front axle was changed on the 4X4 models sometime ago from locking hubs to non-lucking hubs. This would mean that the front running gear is turning all of the time on the newer trucks. This too will use more fuel resulting in poor fuel mileage.
Just my $0.02
