I love this, but with a slight alteration, put the air horns IN the cab under the seat. If he manages to get it started or even turn over BLAM!!! no more ear drums on stupid theif!!! But I pitty the retard friend (we all have atleast one) who will inevitably get it used on him!

My truck goes in the garage for now but when it's lifted it's not going to fit. I may look at that time into upgrading the alarm system but nothing too crazy. I will also be putting a few Surveillance cameras outside my house recorded onto a DVR since that's the industry i'm in. Just havent had a need for it yet since I park inside and the neighborhood is pretty safe

Sorry to break it to ya but my 06' got stolen in seattle. That sentry is a friggin joke. They started it and beat the livin sh!t out of it. Sentry no worky. Now I have an aftermarket alarm/starter kill on my 07.5.

i know i have a 12 valve but same concept here.....i use the cigeret lighter as my"kill" switch on the truck... i wired it to the Neutral saftey switch on the trannie. so if ther is no complete circut it wont start. take the cig lighter with you or just leave it in the poped out position.

My 2002 was stolen back in June. No broken glass, and no noise. It was locked, I had the bedroom windows open, and I have two labs that bark at everything that gets near our property line. I didn't hear anything, and neither did the dogs or any of my neighbors. And that was an old chatter box with a 5" exhaust system. Think again if you believe you are safe with your ride. Still hasn't been recovered. Even after a generous payout from insurance, I still lost $8k on aftermarket parts and personal items that are not covered. BTW, check, as most insurance companies care less about your expensive stereo and speed parts, no matter what pictures/receipts you have.

I recommend multiple layers of security, which is what I use now. And don't leave stuff in your truck. That one is hard for me.

When I bought my new Subaru WRX I had the option of Low Jack, or this new thing, cant remember what it was called. But it is like a lowjack for tracking however it also has an online thing for it too that lets you set driving distances (if someone borrows the truck), or you could even have it set to not even start if you are going to be out of town. Again cant remember what it was called but it sounded great. Did not get either of them though, the insurance woudln't give me $hit for discount so I said Oh well why should I spend my money, you can just replace it. However with the truck I will probably get a good alarm/security device and do that sig lighter thing mentioned above!

I had my truck broken into a few times, so I bought an expensive alarm. Between it always giving false alarms, etc. they broke into my truck again by pulling the back sliding window out with the rubber trim. Alarm never went off as they did not open any doors.

So I bought this for my house: Intermediate Driveway Alarm

I have four sensors hidden out front, and we all know anytime anyone leaves the sidewalk and walks up the driveway. The buzzer is on my nightstand, and I have a .45 and a Benelli for the fun stuff. It's a cheap system and works great for two years now.

I caught a guy at 0300 looking in my truck windows. The look on his face when the sure fire light on the Benelli lit him up was priceless!
