I'm looking to buy a 2007, 2500 or 3500 Ram with the new 6.7 Cummins in it. Anybody have any solid info on when these will be able to be bought outside of the currently released cab and chassis model. I looking for a Sport or Laramie. Thanks for any info!! Chomping at the bit for my new truck!!!!!!!!!!

I beleive Ruby Red is now ULSD as well. Or so I've read in a couple farm magazines...

They're already out. Hell, I saw 3 or 4 of them ('07 chassis cabs) at the dodge dealer on Oak Ridge, TN when I was visiting. That was Dec 29 and 30th last year. I stopped in and had them raise the hood one one so I could see what the 6.7 looks like.

Not till March
We will not see the 6.7 in a 2500/3500 till March. They will be first be seen at the Washingtion DC Auto Show this week I believe. "Unveiled last year, the 6.7-liter engine that goes on sale in March will meet new 2007 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency emissions standards and more stringent 2010 standards, the companies said. Cummins makes the engine in Columbus, Ind." Cummins says its new diesel will be cleanest |
