Mcquay-Norris or XRF

which ones to purchase? is one better than the other or are they about the same quality? i know the mcquay-norris is greasable, but is that necessarily better?

i am looking t order with in a couple days so any info would be great.

Mcquay-Norris

Since the XRF's are splined they tend to open up the axle housing some, leaving the next ball joint job a task to get them to seat. This is good info to know because no matter which of the two you will have to replace them again...

That issue with the XRF's is getting to be a big problem. It is to the point that Dynatrac will knurl theirs in the event that a customer has the stretched out bores.

If I had the money I would love to have Carli or dynatrac. But I just don't have it at this moment.

Just had Mcquay's installed today. Didn't realize how bad my front end was! LOL Got 90k out of the originals, wonder how long these will last?

thanks for all the help everyone. i just got done ordering all my parts. went with timken hubs, mcquay-norris extreme ball joints, ebc 7000 pads, spicer u-joints. the fun begins next weekend when i get to install everything.
