how to reset oil change message

i just changed my oil a little over 1000 miles ago and today my oil change message came on how to i reset it?

Ignition on but don't start. Slowly press the gas pedal to the floor three times and then turn the key off.

Why is it no one will read their owners manual?? This question and others like it all can be answered from your owners manual.

My truck came with a CD for it's manual and I haven't been able to read it yet due to owning a Mac computer. That is my reason. lol

U want to know y I didn't read the manual is because my truck was a two month old repo and didn't come with the owners manual but for 34500 I'll settle for it not being there

The reset the oil change light is also not found in the 2010 Owner's manual, not unless I just could not find it. I read it front to back then searched it again looking for the way to reset the message. It now says to see your dealer.

Also, SLOWLY pressing your pedal down is key. Keep the pedal pressed down for a second and lift and repeat.

It can be found on page 22 of the Owners Manual Supplement (hard copy) and I believe it's also in the manual that came with the truck.
