I hope this helps someone out...
So we went on a 1400 mile trip in my 2011 MC pulling 10000# rv and as we pull out of Texas the truck lost power, kicked out of cruse, and the Electronic Throttle Control light came on. Within seconds it went off and all was good. Went about 200 miles and it did it again but this time the instrument cluster went crazy and the trailer brake disconnected. Pulled over hooked up programmer to pull the code. Cant remember the code # but "the throttle position and brake position was incompatible" was the detail. WTF I thought, why cant they get along. After some google search it was either the ECM or the 2 sensors. Went to autozone picked up a new brake switch and all was good for rest of trip.
