I am all ears on this one. Smog certifications are State concerns and smog devices on vehicles are Federal concerns.
Still can't believe I have to get a smog certificate now for my 98 diesel every other year, that just started a few years ago. What can they be testing?

You should not say anymore about loopholes. You do not know who is monitoring this site and if you do have a good one it will be found and shut down. It could also be used to track you down and send the EPA police to your house to inspect. I am probably paranoid but better safe than sorry. This is a public site !

It took me about an hour to realize if I did say "something" there is a possibility EPA could investigate further. Sorry all. If you look hard enough and are up with your legal, it's there I guarantee you

As far as the post go thanks for the info I got what I needed and am proceeding with sims deletes!

I know what you're talking about and all I have to say, is I really hope you have a backup plan. Definitely not as full proof as you think. Do yourself a favor and find yourself someone that will let it "pass smog" for a small fee, and keep them in the back of your head when it turns out you need them.

If I could figure out a way to post pictures from my iPhone I would but most of the smog people look like "faces of methamphetamine" and strangely haven't taken kindly to any conversation/bribe? Our small town community smog just shut down/ was shut down, so my back ups are falling apart. Worst that happens is I have to revise back to stock biannually, right?

the only way you can be smog exempt is if you live in a county that does not require biannual smog inspections....

good luck
