I'm working on an economy biased tune. It'll take a while though. I'm trying to figure out if at light load and cruising speeds (1600-2000rpms) should I go with more advance to start the bang sooner, or more pressure to make the bang quicker I hope that as long as I stay away form the extremes and long duration tunes, and can't hurt it that bad. I keep tweaking... a few hundred psi here, half a degree there. Then go for a nice steady drive to see how it runs. As long as there is no rattle and it seems smooth, I'll take it for a trip, then compute the mileage to see where I'm at. Then I repeat the process. I hope my engine, and particularly the head gasket, can put up with my experimenting.

I'm not an H&S guy, but I would think that you guys would have an in-house tuner dude that could come up with options other than your "stock" H&S tunes. I hope that the guys with enough balls to dive into this don't blow their sh*t up

H&S does offer "Custom tunes" .. there are at least 4 or more depending on the year of your Dodge. MCC is for the guys that have mechanical upgrades and need to fine tune their specific truck. I am playing with a mileage tune. I would like to add more low end power, but I also dont feel like upgrading my 68RFE right now.

are the custom tunes made with the new MCC software? or from the existing program?

Any of these Custom tunes can be loaded to the SD, then built and output to the MCC software and even more fine tuned or simply downloaded straight the truck. The other advantage of MCC, is FULL control of tuning the 68RFE. There is also adjustable timing that can be adjusted prior to downloading straight to the truck or built and exported to MCC. It is free to download, so if you feel like checking it out, stock files can be found here:

Stock files for comparing / learning

Do you realize how long the waiting list would be for one guy making a specific tune for each person that calls.

What I meant by my post was, I would think that H&S would have tried a ton of tuning combo's with this before releasing it, and that those tunes that worked would be available to customers.
