delete it and go! The emissions equipment is the only thing that sux about the 6.7's oh and it's in a dodge. If you can get past that your golden. If you want to keep your warranty simply unplug the egr vlv. This will keep her clean and give you better mpg

I unplugged the egr for the first 1200 miles. Oil was still way dirty. I did not like all the regins the truck would do. Really did not like how it ran. It was a tuff decision but I ended up going all the way. Very hard to say goodbye to a 100000 mile warranty. 11000 miles now. Oil is nice and clean. Mileage is much better. So far so good. Still worry sometimes while driving out of town. Never sure if you can get someone to work on it if you have problems. Its a roll of the dice.

This is why I was now sheer how far I wanted to go with this. I do go out of town my self. If someting goes wrong will I'm home I can just bolt every thing back on factory so warranty may pay for it. Maybe
Unplugging your EGR mixer valve will go a long ways to helping your engine stay cleaner and gain a bit better fuel economy. That is what many guys are doing to help keep their truck out of the service bay also. Most of the problems people have with their 6.7 are directly related to the emission system. My truck is doing a lot better on fuel without these poorly designed systems and I am only about halfway through all the mods I have planed.

I was going to put a Bully Dog on my truck I was told that I could get around 20 mpg's. But when I when to the store to get one the sales man told me that the only way I could get around 20 mpg's was to go with a H&S programmer and to take off DPF. Did not know how true this was. Did not know if it was true or if he was just wanting to sell more stuff. I was look to spend around $500 for the Bullly Dog now he's got me at around $2,000

The DPF and EGR need to be removed for the best mileage gains. Along with an H&S tuner.
Depending on what programmer you use and how far you want to go (egr delete, cooler delete, unplug, DPF delete pipe, or complete exhaust) it will cost anywhere between $1100-1500, if you do it yourself.
I like mine. I didn't need the extra power as much as I wanted rid of the emissions and the mileage gain.
H&S was one of the first to come up with a completely code free DPF and EGR delete. Their focus seems to be on '07 and later trucks, so they aren't really mainstream outside that market. But they have a good product and great customer support.
I didn't mention Smarty because I don't see a listing for a '11 truck yet.
