68rfe install

Hey guys for those of y'all that have changed out the tranny, how did y'all go about the install? I managed to take out my toasted tranny all at once with the transfer case but would it be easier to install the transfer case with the tranny already on? I had a tough time keeping it all balanced so I would imagine when I go to install the new one that it would be kinda hard to get it all under there and lined up.
Thanks for the help guys!

On my G56 I took it out all as one, upon install I took the Tcase off and put it in after the trans was bolted up. Made things much easier. I guess it depends on the trans jack your using and if you have a helping hand. My trans jack was cheap and I was doing it by myself.

What gadet are you using to do relearn? I'm kinda deciding whether or not to do r&r myself...but the gadget cost to might be a deal breaker for me.

I was wondering if fresh install of efi tunes with trans tuning accomplishes same " relearn"?

Trailer it to the dealer once the install is complete. I think they charge 50 or 75 buck maybe?

Keep it under 30 percent throttle and 2000 rpm and you should be good

Wouldn't hurt to ask. Also if your tuned, you should probably run stock power level until relearn is done.
