Best location for Flo Pro twister

So, just got my Flo pro race pipes in today with a 4" Flo Pro Twister. The MM3 will be in tomorrow. Question is, where is the best location to place the Twister ? I was planning on putting it in the first delete pipe about 4" past the bolt on flange to the downpipe. I read that a resonator works the best as close to the downpipe as possible.. anyone have experience putting one there or other locations? Thx

Put it as close to the downpipe as you can in your delete pipes. Wherever you can make it fit

Thanks, That's what I thought.. it will fit easily right after the bolt on flange to the down pipe.

I absolutely love these things. I put one in our self propelled sprayer, and the noise difference is unbelievable

Hey I've got a question for you about the whole race pipe thing that you got from Flo Pro. I was interested in this pipe setup but it says that it has no bungs. Now, I am new to the diesel scene as an owner so I don't really know EXACTLY what a guy needs and doesn't.

My understanding is that you don't need bungs because the programmer will override the sensors? Is this true or did you have to tap bungs in? How did you like your twister and did you use a twister and resonator or are they the same(flopro site calls it a muffler 😐 )?

You don't need bungs, the programmer disables all the sensors. I love the Twister, I just used the Twister only no other muffler or resonator, this is both in one.. I have a short video/sound clip but I can't load it here for some reason.. PM me your phone number and I'll text it to you

I just did the flopro 4" on Saturday and I did it with no bungs because the tuner deleted the sensors and I couldn't get them out. (NE RUST). I used dielectric grease to fill the sensors and heat shrunk them shut! A little electrical tape for good measure. A few zip ties and we were in business. I was going to get the twister but find I don't need it. I have no drone (yet). Only about 100 miles on the pipe. Towing south on the 18th. I'll keep posted how the trip went. Flopro stated 50lbs of torque on the band clamps. So that's what I did!! Good luck. I love the delete!!!

Here's what mine sounds like 5" SS with the 17" SS twister resonator installed right behind the down pipe, I love the way it sounds, not straight pipe loud, but can def. tell something is done to her!

I am planning on doing the delete pipe and am trying to decide if I need to run a resonator or something too. When I had my 07.5 and deleted it. The drone was unbearable when pulling my toy hauler. I ended up throwing a 30" FTE resonator on it. Solved every bit of drone I had...

I wonder if I better just do it to be safe. Can anyone compare the twister to the FTE or aeroturbine?

I'll let you know hopefully soon abiut drone also, installed MM3 yesterday, emailed stock tune and just waiting on the tunes to be emailed back. I believe I can't change the pipes and egr delete until I get the tunes in hand correct? MM3 was fairly simple to install also. Anyone have a video of there truck with the 4 inch race pipes added? Hoping to hear what I'll be expecting.
