Ok guys, been reading through this thread and many others. I notice lots of people using the torrent. First off, be careful with torrents while downloading at work. I am in IT and it's frowned on as a security risk and if an IT department is any good, all your outgoing internet traffic is logged. Now that I got that off my chest, thanks to Armada505 for providing many files via MediaFire. I scanned all the files with AntiMalware and Sophos AV, they are clean from what I can tell.
SO, my question is, is there a way to upload them to the XRT Pro without having to pay someone for custom unlock code? I know my way around some programming and such, but the guys who write these custom files have to had written documentation somewhere on how they are getting the hash codes (using 3rd party hashing/software key generators) or at least a manual on how to actually use the MCC software...
In my case, I have a 2012 Mega cab with a tune already loaded on the truck (SW-1.02.3 TV-6.8.32), have the deletes done, but I worry with the tune showing "MILD w/Turbo" and I have it on timing default which is "3".
I have the MCC software loaded on my laptop, can open files, have placed another members tune that I found which is a NO_AGG Turbo tune in a "custom" folder on the SD card. When I hook up the tuner to the truck and navigate to the option to upload the custom file, it's asking me for an unlock code. Who is reputable on this forum to give the unlock code. I have seen several people advertise from $150 - $300 bucks and that seems very excessive for a tuner that is no longer produced. Thanks in Advance!
Yes, I have watched the youtube videos that were posted as well. I think clarification on what files need to go in what folder, along with any additional "definition" files that have been mentioned would be great.
