I'm gonna back up a little bit.

Before I first started the truck I left the injectors unplugged and rolled the engine over for about 20 seconds. 2 times. I hate to run the starter any longer and heating up the wiring. She was trying to fire without the injectors. (Compression ignition )
It never showed pressure but plugged in the injectors and fired it up and had pressure quick. From my past I've never let an fresh build just idle, so I ran it up to1400rpms for 5minutes and ran it again today.

Since 6 o clock this evening it's snowed 4". Hopefully tomorrow the roads will be clear for our first test ride. But, from the driveway test, WOW what a difference!! I can't wait to see what the dyno numbers are going to be!!

We took the ole girl out,15 mile round trip. The roads were nasty wet, raining all day with snow on the ground. Today I ran the truck another 20 minutes at 1400rpms. Before I took it out. Their is no haze, with the 200hp nozzles, I was kinda worried about that. With 87,770miles of the ole girl, it is the best she has ever been. The response is very quick, the egt's are close to the same. My drive pressure might be up a little, but on such a short run its hard to say. And yes I've have smoke, wish I didn't. I think it's spooling sooner, faster, harder, it's easy to spin the tires in 6th gear. We can't wait untill tomorrow, we are going to town!!

With the injectors being relatively higher mileage did you get them tested before the nozzle change?

No injector testing. I've always ran a fuel additatve, me think'n the extra lube helps.

100mile test. My egt's run 650 @ 65mph a little more if I'm going up a incline a little less if I'm going dn/hill.

If I try to maintain 10lbs of boost I've got 11or 12lbs of drive pressure.

Now keep in mind I run my mini on preformance all the time timing on4or5. With MCC from tomey.

Sounds like drive pressure isn't an issue, imagine that.

Did you at least have the nozzles balanced to the bodies?

No nothing like that bob. But I did have 2 other sets of eyes when I installed the nozzles. I had my bench around vice cleaned up and laid towels around it just in case we dropped a puck. All I can say is.... You better not drop one!! We laid one of the old nozzles down on the rags, didn't know the puck was still attached with a drop of fuel. We found it but it made me second guess myself with only 1more nozzle to finish. So we pulled them all back down again to be 100% they were right. I heard they were small, this is false. They are tiny!! I was going to take pic's, but all this that I'm doing to my truck has been done 100s of times and theirs enough pictures already out there.
