I always like looking at the different combos here's mine:

here's my unit it is hooked up to my 04 in the pic not my 11 not that it really matters. It's nothing to fancy but it more then gets the job done, It's a 1995 27ft Vangaurd no slides but more then big enough for me, the wife and kiddo. there is usually a 10ft utility trailer with my RZR strapped behind the camper as well.

What kind of 5th wheel are you guys using? the Standard hitch or some sort of slider? I would be worried about contact with the cab!

I have a husky 16K slider in mine works great never had any issues with it. it slides back about 9-10" which gives me more then enough clearance between the camper and the back of the cab.

I use a Pull Rite Super Glide 4400 18k slider it slides a full 14" it gets close but I have yet to have an issue.
