So far it's been very reliable and been under water a few times, and no issues so far, it is super bright and some of the LEO don't like to see it on in town, I mainly use it on backroads to watch for deer

Wish I would have seen these about six months ago. I got some sheet steel and welded up my own brackets that look almost identical to those brackets. For what I paid for the steel and the time it took me to make them...it would have saved me some $$$...
And the stock 2500/3500 tow hooks are not nearly as sturdy as they appear. After seeing a couple of post about them bending, I decided to ditch mine and go with a 40 inch LED bar.
This is exactly the install I plan to do on my '17 3500 when I take delivery. I already have the brackets and the light from Rough Country. Has anyone confirmed that we can actually mount the 4500/5500 hooks underneath on ours. I saw someone did it on a '12 or a '13, but I heard on newer trucks there is no longer a spot to add the hooks??
