2500 AND 3500 Mega Cab differences

I am looking to purchase a 2011-2012 Mega Cab, I am just trying to learn and understand the differences in the SINGLE WHEEL 2500 and SINGLE WHEEL 3500. I was once told it was nothing more than a leaf spring in the rear leaf spring pack. Please help clarify this for me to help in my purchase of a truck. Thank you

I believe you are correct, But I also remember reading that emissions might be different on som 3500 than 2500's. Not sure if it is true though. Hopefully someone will chime in that knows.

Depends if it's a C&C he's comparing it to.

Yes, I understand cab and chassis, when I was searching for this information the other day I didn't realize that I started the discussion in the cab and chassis forum. But the answer is NO, I'm not looking for a cab and chassis setup or info on them. I was looking for info on just the differences between the 2011-2012 mega cab pickup both SRW setup. I am not looking at this time for a dually. I appreciate ppls input.

Looks like Bob got you triple covered there. But he is right, as long as you stay out of C&C rigs, that is the main difference, but you are more likely to get shorter gears in a 3500 and taller gears in a 2500. just something to consider when you are looking at trucks.

2012 MCSB DRW 3500 Laramie Longhorn, EFI Live By ANARCHY Diesel, 4" flopro turbo back with muffler, S&B air box and filter, Edge Insight CTS2, 2" HBS level, Bilstein 5100s in all 4 corners with steering stabilizer, PacBrake Airbags, Lifetime LED headlights and my EGR stuff ran away, lemme know if you find it
