I ran 2 cycle oil for about 30 days or so before I first noticed minor injector problems and the longer I used it the more I noticed I would get 1 or more injectors knocking. Whats surprised me is I could pour in 14 oz of Lucas injector cleaner drive for 20 minutes and it would cure the problem. BTW I noticed the mpg loss on the first tank but blamed it on the cold weather. I tried it again in the spring along with other additives but was told I should not do so. Over the next few months I tried different amounts and brands of 2 cycle oil and I still had either injector problems or lose of mpg and in the end I had more injector problems so I stopped using it. Now that I have stopped using it I've not had any problems from my injectors in 8 months.
