The above study does not Pertain to the 6.7 only the 5.9. The 6.7 was made to burn ULSD and therefore does not need any extra lube added to the fuel system like some of the 5.9's. The 2004.5 and older 5.9 are the ones most likely to need the extra lube for the fuel system as they were not made to burn ULSD nor was the V44 pump that was lubed by diesel fuel.
