First remove the secondary cross member support. Then support the cross member with jack stands or similar device. Next, use the hydrolic jack that came with the truck (+ a few wood blocks) to place under the trany. Apply just enough pressure with the jack to slightly lift the tranny less than 1/4 inch. Then take out the bolts to the frame first (I removed both sides but only dropped the passenger side of the support to slide out the DPF) and then remove the bolts that support the tranny. Drop the passengerside to the ground, you may have to slightly pry it out (becareful, it's heavy but not uncontrolable). Then unblot the DPF & NOX and remove!
