Ill be honest here....unless you are stuck in -20*F for days on end....a good additive in the tank is all you need to keep the fuel from gelling....BUT i can understand running the new filter cap.....AND you can run the filter head with no issues.....you just use the fittings we supply for the injection pump and they will bolt right up to the filter head....same exact thread pitch......
I think i figured out why i was not getting notifications.....everything was going into my junk folder for CF!! I dont know why....but i think i got it back on track.....
