Yeah, if you drive 55-60 it is much easier to get high mileage. But realistically, most people drive faster than that. I tried to get high mileage in my '07 and the highest I could get was 18.5 at 62 mph. That was being EXTREMELY easy on the go pedal. The G56 is just geared so low that I was still at high RPM's. It's not that I drive it hard, I used to make 20 consistently with my '99. It's just that the newer engines just don't make that mileage like the old ones did.

BTW I average 55-60MPH with the tach less than 1500RPM with an auto and 3.73 Gears.

False, 03-04 305 motors make the most HP on fuel only, 325 have a hard time passing 1000hp on fuel only and yes the 305 does get better mileage

2004 Dodge Ram 2500 - Cummins Diesel Engine - Diesel Power Magazine

The 03-04 are the best motors you can get in the CR series, although stock for stock if you put the same tuner to each the 325 will smoke it, mild mods out of the two, the 325 will always win but not when you get into the higher #s its all downhill from there for the 325

BUMP little late

Good luck with the sale

Well the truck is what we want. If we could sell the Chevy for $6k and scrape together the rest of your desired price...it'd be about 4 months from now. I wonder Allen do you have that kind of wait time on the other side (your buying that other Ford truck) of the deal?

I have the truck yes, I'm not sure if it's still for sale or not, for the right price it is but I've still been dumping money into it

thats a nice truck bro!! if it were a long bed id say yes in a heart beat, also if it was a 7.3... im so skeptical of the 6.0, im not as afraid of them in the 06/07's but the 03 and 04's i wasnt fond of due to it being the first year and them having so many problems... but send me a few more pics, that is a nice truck and i LOVE fords, only reason i bought this was for the motor, and i just yesterday put a south bend iron giant clutch in the dodge... havnt even gotten to drive it yet
