The thermodynamic properties of the diesel fuel/air fluid mixture...if the air is too cold the diesel fuel will not light. Since diesel engines are compression based and relies on the principle that when you compress a gaseous mixture it heats up, in the case of a diesel engine the mix is under so much pressure it combusts. A pure diesel engine has no other heat source so they need either glow plugs or a grid heater or something to warm the air tot he point where the engine can fire.

And as awenthol said you would need to change the angle of the intercooler tube.

Save yourselves a bunch of headache and order it from Glacier.
Same exact thing plus less $$ and he sponsors. Fast ship too.

Don't waste your time with the seller on Ebay. He won't answer the phone or return messages.
A mistake on his part caused me to cancel my order. He offred to send a free one if I didn't leave negative feedback.
This was on Jan 25.
Don't waste your time and mone with this dishonesty.

Awenthol,
Thanks for the tips. This is something that I've been considering doing on mine but the code problem was my main concern. Now I think I'll put that stainless air horn on.
