3rd Gen Ladder Bar Install
Attached is the procedure I used to mount ladder bars to my truck. The bars I used need to be welded to the axle tubes, but the procedure shows how I built a bolt on bracket for the hydroformed frame. I am not saying this is the best or only way to do this, but this was my solution and may give you guys some ideas. Enjoy

Brian, Jeff didn't get a chance to really test them yet he had to go back to work. I am looking in to installing these an my truck and see how they work on a long bed. On a off topic note have you made it home yet and if so how are hummer wheels doing. |

Ahhh. Jeff and his excuses….work. Priorities man! Hey…there should be a rule that everyone has to use the same name on every forum! I can’t keep up!!! Yep…got back mid January. It was definitely good to be home. The wheels are doing great. I had a local machine shop open the hubs for me and they bolted right up. The little bit of extra width/offset has cured the slight rub I had a full lock…bonus! :thumbsup |

1st off, Awsome!!!!!!!!! Congrats on making back home. 2nd. Sorry for the name change. This is the only forum where my name is differant. I really don't post any more anywhere else, I just get amussed at all that has changed with the forums and proirties of finding better ways to do things to or trucks and such. It just seems now unless you are a sponcer or vendor you cant suggest anything new with out getting flaged and ranted on. I hope cummins forum stays like this. O'weel back on topic. Sorry Jeff. Jeff mentioned that you were looking to put the ladder bars on your truck as well. I you wouldn't mind keep me posted on what you find. thanks Cliff |

Yep. I purchased the bars and Jeff made me a set of his brackets. I'm building a new set of twins right now so that is burning up most of my vacation time. Hopefully I will get around to putting the bars on before racing starts in May.
