Hurst T-Handle Install - A

I got a Universal Hurst T-Handle from my brother for Christmas and this is a write-up on the install.

Here is a link for the removal of the shifter handle.
Removing Shifter Knob (G56) - A

The install is very simple but this is more for people to see what one looks like in our trucks.

1. Open Box...lol.

2. Youll use the Gold Adapter for installing on a G56.

3. Apply some threadlock and screw in the adapter to the handle.

4. Screw the lock nut onto the shifter.

5. Screw the handle onto the shifter until it stops against the locknut

6. Back off untill handle is where you want it and tighten the lock nut.

VERY EASY to do.
Here are some pictures of it installed.

Shifting seems to be alot more controlled and firmer. Havnt had much drive time with it but seems really nice so far. The only bad thing is when its cold out, the shifter gets pretty cold.

Once it gets into the 50's, its time to break out the long johns and heavy jackets...lol. I love when its hot, Im from South Texas and temps over 100 are normal. I dont want to live anywhere north of San Antonio.

Not sure where it was bought, my brother got it for me. I think many autopart stores carry them.
