yea my 04.5 did that too, just found that out Sat when I had to pull that Radiator

yea everything is fixed now but was a pain in the. Why would they put that little pos plastic drain valve on the radiator like that

I was just installing my new intake and noticed the same thing...mines an 07 so it cant just be an 06 problem

i was told by a tech that was suppose to not have a clamp so if the pressure build the hose would just blow off.....hmm...seemed flimzy to me

Uhhhhhh, that would be the reason for:

1 - The overflow resevoir and

2 - The radiator cap

That "tech" was feeding a line of crap.

ya that is what i thought too....but i left mine undone but i think i will hose clamo it now!!! i never trust the "tech" these days

just went out and checked mine, 06 no clamp and hose half off, not leaking but thanks tclapp, i thought they'd cut costs in a different way than this, oh well though doesn't suprise me much in today's society

I will do that. I had my 03 in the shop a few time for a coolint leak, nothing found, a cheap part like that, damn i'm pissed now. WIll be fixing it tomarrow. Thank you!

Stock ISB250 did 233.8/461 (04/08). Time to fix it up.

That tech sounds like a pretty smart fella... lets think you have aftermarket intake and that hose comes off antifreeze goes into the intake... then the motor goes BOMB.... i think ill take my chances with my clamp on there!!!
