mine fell off and sprayed outside oem airbox, sure glad i didnt have my cai then. ridiculous they didnt put on a clamp at the factory

i did the same thing you did put a clamp on it because of the small leak. i also moved the hose so it was not such a sharp curve

Funny, I was doing my 30k service this weekend and noticed the coolant bottle a little low, looked at the cap and noticed some discoloration on the air box cover, dug around in my junk box, found a clamp and its all fixed now.

My 2- 06's both didn't have any clamps there were small drips as well

I new mine did not have a clamp but never thought about that causing a problem. It has one now, tks.

i THINK 03 - 04 had them, while 04.5-06 does not, yet SOME 07s & up do! i guess it depends what day your truck was made, seems like that was a monday or friday shift haha.

to add to my post, my 04.5 did not have it, none of my (6) 05's had it, and none of my 06's had it. they all got clamps about a week after they were new.
