Transfer case and Transmission fluid separate

I got everything pulled down. What a mess.. Fluid everywhere.

When refilling, is the case fulled separate or does the transmission and transfer case share?

Thanks

Haha i absoulutly hate dropping trans pans, there is not neat way to do it. My next investment is a deep aluminum pan that has a drain bolt on the side, so you can drain it before you drop it, but anyways they are seperate
