Question 03 or 04 3.42's

Is there anybody with an 03 or early 04 with the HO motor that has switched to 3.42 gears. If so what kind of change in mileage did you yield. Right know I have 4.10 gears and get about 16-17 on the highway

I would get the 3:73's if you pull trailers on a regular basis and it should get you close to 20mpg. If you dont pull alot of trailers then go with the 3:42's. I get close to 20mpg with my 3:73's. What your getting now isn't bad though.
