ok so my buddy tells me that suncoast is better than goerend. i have been seaching other fourms and a lot went with goerend, i want to put a new tranny in but i dont know whitch one can yall help? so please vote and have a reason why you think its better?
I have a full goerend in my 2nd gen. Love it. I never knew what the trans was supposed to feel like until I got mine built. World of difference. I cant compare it to a suncoast as ive never had suncoast. Guys that have goerend go with goerend and the same with suncoast to suncoast. The deciding factor for me was the price, got right on the phone with goerend, and never heard negative about em. I love mine. Know a few guys thst have 5-600 horse out of theirs and not a problem. Im gettin ready to build mine to about 5-550 and I have confidence in it.

Is this a joke thread? There is no option here. Goerend or Garmon are the biggest names. DTT and Revmax are up there too.

Wish I would have gone with suncoast and did the 300m input. I like to try and do things once. When I break this tiny billet input I got doing a boosted launch, hopefully it won't take out my tc or anything else. My tranny is better than stock but would not recommend. I told them I wanted a 700-800hp tranny. Should have done more research and been more specific on what parts I wanted, instead of saying build me a 700-800hp tranny. The triple disc tc doesnt handle 500hp. Never offered me constant psi vb, or bigger input shafts. I paid top dollar for a tranny that isnt as good as it could be, so to do it right I will have to dump more money into it. Bad customer service on top of that.
i have suncoast parts and the trans was put together by gearld kosub here in san Antonio and its holding 700 plus hp no problem... and i drive like a highschooler with a hot date commin along for the ride
I have a suncoast. And will never buy anything from suncoast again. Your better off getting a stock unit over suncoast. At least that way you can make it further than 300 miles.
The reason suncoast is priced so high is because there price includes two rebuilds on their dime for warrenty work. Im not joking. Was told "well now this is starting to cut into my pocket" by someone at suncoast on my third rebuild in 1000 miles.I asked what do you mean? He said "we have enough room in our price to rebuild twice before we start loosing money"

Is price an object? are you talking about 1000HP or 700HP or 500HP?
Don't forget Garmon.
