banks six gun problems

i got a 07 cummins (5.9) 6 speed... i just bought the truck and it already have the banks chip in it (not really a fan) im having problems with it. seem to cut out or not work for a little then work again.... i checked every plug wire i cant find nothing wrong or loose... any suggestions???

i dont know much at all about those banks chips but does it have a readout screen with all the extra guages and is that where you select the tune also? or is it a flash tuner? or plug n play?

Im pretty sure the 6 gun has some pre set safety parammeters that can be set by the user, so maybe they have very safe settings in it and its just defueling itself untill the EGT's or something cool down.....
