Transmission issue? Need help

Hope someone can help me...driving the other day smelled brakes bad pulled off drivers side brakes were smoking, got home checked the caliper and one piston wouldn't extend so I changed the caliper but here's the real problem...when tryin to go up any hill from a stop or slow the truck will barely move it takes all it got to move, so I parked it and have been trying to troubleshoot, I'm 99% sure it's not brakes,p jacked the truck up and everything spun free and released fine, while of had it up in the air I put it in drive and the wheels seem to spin fine...any ideas anyone...governor solenoid?, torque conv. Issue? I need to get this solved asap
