how do i do the cycle and read it???? my check engine light isnt on either

ok scratch that^^^^ i did it and the thing said ------ followed by -done- . But once in a while my airbag light will come on and my lights will start flashin goofy every like 15sec. but the only code i can get out of cycleing the key, my cheap obd ll scanner, and the smarty is this PD403 code. and that is the smarty giving to me.
any ideas??

then you think the smarty is just acting wierd then??? cause after i change up the settings on it my blinkers are acting wierd. then when i turn the truck off and let it sit for a while and turn it back on then its fine??? i dunno im just ganna email mads electronics and c what they say. i bet money that its the stupid banks i got. its nothin but problems with me, im on the second one already.

It is most likely a real code, but just a different type "p" codes are Powertrain codes and "PD" codes are likely something else entirely. If you know a good dealer they might be able to tell you what it is supposed to be.
