Max,
No need to leave bud..... my first post was in no way intended for you....

In fact, i remember when i became a moderator 5-6 years ago this forum flourished with informative guys like you.... facts were stated, blunt and to the point..... now we're filled with uninformative, immature, opinionated (other words im not going to put here) that have no clue... I was quite pleased when google's first post was a multi page thread of your posting about the differences, mainly because it looks as if it calmed a bunch of uninformative posts in this thread.. excuse any grammatical errors, i've been up almost 3 days straight with a fussy 3 week old....
No worries. Thanks for clearing that up

This thread is really out of hand. It OP wants to put an ally in. Y'all say it won't hold over 550-600 hp. He said he's gonna daily it and pull a little bit. Where does it say he's gonna race it. Anyways since I'm an idiot and such and I know nothing. Yall can have this thread. It's really pointless to post cause we have the forum police telling us who's right and wrong. Just cause your the forum popo doesn't mean you know everything. But like I said have at it I'm out.

Lol really? I would quote my comments that were informative but for some reason they have disappeared??? Cause someone can't handle being called a name. If people don't know what they are talking about then don't act like you do and you won't be called an "idiot". I have first hand knowledge of the Allison and how it shifts. And then Someone comes on here and say no your wrong. And has never even driven a truck with an Allison. But because someone can work wonders with google and can look stuff up and post it doesn't always mean the stuff that's posted
Is right. Sorry everyone for calling y'all names I didn't mean to make you cry. Just trying to help the op and give him my knowledge and thoughts of this swap. I'll leave it to the google "experts" to help you from now on. I'm just gonna watch and laugh at these ridiculous comments that the "experts" give! Carry on.....

I can read just fine. So, tell us the differences between the 01-04 vs 04.5-05 5speeds vs 06+ speeds? Which is stronger and why? Interchangeability in hard parts? Strengths and weakness of each?

What other problems does the Trans Go kit cure?
