Driveline Vibration

I am having a vibration at 70mph, that comes and goes while driving. Could this be a u-joint on the driveshaft. I still have that vibration at 55-65 that is constant. I may try and take out the driveshaft, and replace the u-joints and have it balanced. What has everyone else had.

The 55-65 vibration that is constant does it all the time weather under load or not. I was cruising at 70 when the vibration comes and goes.

U-Joints are common, but not to rule out tires or even flexplate issues.

I have taken the front driveshaft off, and drove with it like that, and found that it was not the problem.

2006 highway vibration

Monday I had a similar problem with vibration at highway speed, took it to the dealer (still under warranty) and they deemed that both rear u-joints were shot. Had both replaced yesterday but still have the vibration today above 65 mph. Took it back to the dealership and they are now replacing the entire driveshaft, "just in case". I'm not sure what to think, it actually happened during a period of time I wasn't actually abusing the truck with the cummins power.

Anyone else have their driveshaft replaced?
