Glow Plug light stays on while driving

I was driving today and the wait to start/glow plug light started flashing along with chimes. Now it's on permanently. Anyone know why that is. All other gauges read ok. No check engine light and truck starts and shuts down as normal. Any help would be appreciated

hate to be that guy, but the cummins does not have glow plugs. I had that similar issue a few years ago and had the replace the grid heater, you can get a cummins grid heater online fairly cheap.
