how to check if fuel is in my oil?

I was wondering how to check if fuel was in my oil? could I get some pics too please. Thanks.

Pull the dipstick and smell it. If you smell diesel then there's fuel in the oil. Also, if the level is way overfull then there's likely fuel in it...

clean piece of white paper put a drop of oil out your engine on the paper a drop of clean oil and a drop of fuel the the fuel in your oil will make a lighter ring around the dark oil spot the other drops clean oil and fuel are just to help u compare what u are seeing

oil analysis test labs.
ask your local big rig CAT and Cummins shops where they send oil samples for testing.
most large cities have at least one lab.
pick a close lab to cut down mail ship time.
about $20 for basic test includes fuel in oil results.
many email and present the result online, saving access time.

don't want more than 2% in a Cummins HPCR.
