my truck keeps flashing this code (P2146 cylinders 1-3 shotened high or low) it always happens when i have started my truck, pull out to get going, and push on the throtle about 1/4 of the way then it pings and chugs lets out a little whiteish smoke and looses all power for about 15 sec. or so then it resets or whatever it does then it is back to normal ? i have sent my juice back to edge to get re-flased twice and it still does it every 2-3000 miles. i thought maybee it might be draining my rail but it never happens when i am flooring it only light throttle and if you look in my sig i should be geting plenty of fuel there. could it be too much pressure ? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks !

I nicked a wire on the internal injector harness when I installed the head stud's. It did it as soon as I started the truck, and ran like that until I found the short. With your's being intermitent, That's why I figured it was maybe in your module. I know this suck's, but you could try running without the module for a while and see what happen's.

yes i could but I don't think it is a problem with the edge cause i have tried a whole new system and it still did it. i talked to industrial injection today (when i was picking up my new turbo) and they said it sounds like I am popping the relief valve on the rail but I have no idea because it doesn't hapen very often at all

well if they said that i would'nt ask them anymore questions... popping the relief valve would throw a p0191 fuel press rationality code because of the difference in pressure between actual and setpoint, the P2146 cylinders 1-3 shotened high or low is and electrical issue...
