2-3 Shift Flare

I called Suncoast about my flare because HTS didn't answer the phone. I asked what causes a 2-3 flare all of a sudden. The technician told me to adjust the front band. Not a problem, except I did that 6 months ago or maybe longer. I forgot to tell him that and now they are closed I think. Will it really eliminate the flare? I also asked if my governor solenoid could be bad again. Last time the governor solenoid was bad I had the gear hunting, not a flare. This is all of a sudden and I had when stuff doesn't work like it's supposed to. I almost never tow and I never mudfoot the truck from a stop. I don't beat on the truck in other words.

Any advice, expertise, or direction will be greatly appreciated.
