Thinking low compression...

Ok, well to make a long story short, I had an accident where the throttle stuck and turned the truck on its side back in december. I have it now all fixed with a new paint job but... It now smokes a low throttle(sw1), and shuts down really smooth. It doesn't shake or shut down as rough as it used to.
I had all the injectors cleaned and have two brand new ones in it. I am thinking the reasons for the way it is acting is because of low compression, for whatever reason. I have not run more than 5psi of boost yet as I want to further go over everything again and check it. The last time I checked i am not making oil, but I will check it again tomorrow(haven't put but 5 or 6 miles on it since I have gotten it back).
Does this sound like a melted piston or low compression issue? Do I need to worry, or completely stop driving the truck?

Sounds to me like a piston melt down or an injector. what do you mean you had them clean or were they checked? if the truck rolled there a chance it a cylinder could have got washed out but a compression check would be your best bet.

I took the injectors out and took them to an injector shop in town that specializes in bosch pumps and injectors. He cleaned them all and tested them and said that 2 were way out of spec and bleeding pressure to zero almost instantly so I replaced those two.

Blow by is not to comman on this new cr but if it has a ton of miles on it then it maybe a problem. If you work on your truck, napa makes a compression test kit it's not to bad on price like 250 bucks. What color the smoke?

It hazes a gray under light throttle, no antifreeze or oil type smells from the exhaust gas. It just seems like a lot of unburnt fuel. I am on sw1 so I wouldn't think it is excessively fueling.

did the engine run at WOT on the side roll and for how long?
if WOT for more than seconds, will take out bearings from lack of oil. cylinders will be bathed in oil, new motor sump.

if at idle, not much chance of damaging anything

how's the power from low rpm up to max WOT? same as before accident?

any codes?

compression test on a diesel is almost worthless as far as analysis but if you've got $250 to waste go for it.
cylinder leak down test will tell far more about condition of rings/pistons/cyl wall/valves.

Never went WOT, just stuck at about 2000rpm. When it was on it's side it was still going, I tried to hold the brake and put it in park, it wouldn't go so I just killed it... maybe 2-3 sec at most. I haven't check gone more than about 5psi of boost as of it.
