48re billet, whats out there?

hey all, thought id drop a note since i havent been on here in a while. im currently running crazy larry, stage 2 cp3 and a boost fooler on a stock tranny
money is not an issue
im lookin for a trans that will hold me 700-800 hp
ive looked through nadp, suncoast, garmon etc
i wanted to know what you all are runnin in the billet field
please list some companys and websites if you can. thanks!

8000lbs - 750hp/1450tq - 6" lift on 37's. Run in the high 11's low 12's for the last 2.5yrs without issue. Several sled pulls in there too.

yea my one buddy gets a good price on there parts
we just recently did my other buds tq conv and vb and it holds like a mother!

i run whats in my sig.. fully billet extreme trans from nadp.. have 5 months/12,000kms on it.. small tune on merging onto the highway and input snapped.. NO warranty, just aggravation.. good luck with your choice!

Look man where are you from? The most important thing is to find a reputable builder that is CLOSE TO YOU. A well built trans can still have issues and need adjustments. You don't want to be having that thing shipped back and forth.

There are a few good builders around the country. We either build them in house, or farm it out to HTS. Garmon is awesome as well. Suncoast is a good builder, but expensive compared to the other options out there.

Also, don't let anybody make you think its the last transmission you will have to buy. At 800hp and playing with it, you will have regular teardowns, shaft inspections, ect. These things can be built to be tough, but not invincible. The shafts can only take so many launches, sled pulls, or such. Clutches wear out. If you are going to have that much power and use it to its full potential, expect that you will have to do more than the average Joe to keep it on the road.
