I get lots of smoke from putting programing the extreme tune into my truck with my predator. I would say you pretty much have to start with a good programmer that adds fuel.

if you dont know how, then you dont need to be rolling it. its guys like you that are being immature about diesels and making true diesel guys look bad, its people like you that cause DPFs on new trucks, and have cops cracking down on us. diesel is not all about the smoke and if thats all you want to know how to do then find a different web site to ask on.
How do I get black smoke??

I not sure why you think your so important that you would tell someone to go to another forum. He asked a question if you don't like the question go to another thread yourself. try to blame others for dpfs is a joke.

inject more fuel than the engine is capable of burning by adding a programmer, larger injectors or restrict the air filter lol smoke = higher egt's. programmer could mean fried clutch or tranny

you want smoke, drive behind me, watch as it rolls out of my truck when I do not want it to...... easy on the go peddle till I see 10 psi before I can even think of given it a snack, let alone let er eat. One of these days i will have to turn it down a touch to see if i can make it more smoke free, till then I will try my best to not blow my own ride and get on a black list / target for tickets.

Well said. I think bigdodge would be better off in a Prius forum.

i have been on other threads and most of these people that ask this question get the same answer as i gave him. my truck will roll smoke like a coal train but im pushing 500 hp to the wheels and i dont go blasting aroud town and make every intersection disappear. like i said diesel is not all about the black smoke. if you want a ton of smoke put a trash bag over your airfilter...works everytime

oh by the way DPFs are because of people blowing smoke all over the place and polluting the air a long with heavy trucks being on the road all the time and wanting the pollution down.

if you build a truck build it for power and function, not just to run around town and blow smoke and then get your doors blown off by a truck thats built right and doesn't smoke at all
