I guess you could ask yourself a very simple question. To blow, or not to blow? I personally choose not too. But every guy needs to answer that one for himself. On a serious note, I don't think blowing smoke should be your only goal (just my .02). Give your truck the hp, and you'll get your smoke as an end result.

I "roll coal" as a way to say hello to other diesel enthusiasts. Like bikers all do their little wave down toward the pavement recognizing their other biker friends. We all had to get interested in diesels somehow, can't say I blame anyone for thinking it looks cool to blow a little smoke. To respond to the question; To run any tuner/program that will give you a decent amount of smoke you will need to be considering some form of tranny upgrades to handle the extra power. There are so many options out there you'll just need to do some reading/searching for what fits the style of driving you want to do. Good luck!

I want the smoke to dump on those crackers who tailgait me! Cracks me up when they think my truck is broken because of the smoke... But later they find out I am way ahead of them... LOL
