2-3 MPG increase

Hey.... i put a 2" leveling kit on my truck and lost 2 MPG so i made this spoiler/valence to accomidate for the lift, stock valence is roughly 4" + 2" leveling kit is well 6" but i made mine to 10"... still plenty of room to clear any curb i have seen... and i picked up almost 4 MPG with it!! that was the main reason for making it was to try and regain MPG that i lost with leveling kit, and it worked!!! so i figured if anyone else wants one i can make them one as well $350, $450 with LED's on it, i planned on putting LED's on mine but never got around to it yet

First couple pics are before i painted it then 1 of it painted but not on the truck... then the rest are of it painted and on the truck!! i love the thing! let me know if anyone wants one!!

well, I have to say thats a neat/different idea for MPG. I know that I wouldn't have thought of that.

Kinda makes your truck look like it has a goatee

yeah, well thats one of the reasons why GM's get better MPG's than a ford/dodge.... a 4x4 GM/chevy sits lower to the ground than a 2x4 ford/dodge.... but yeah, air resistance and drag are HUGE!!!! on efficiency on a truck that size

It's a cool idea; but I'm gonna pass on it, because of where I drive. Lot's of farm lanes for my regular job, and a lot of fields in the fall duck and goose hunting. I don't want to have to be tanking it on and off. You may sell more than a few though!!!!

Looks like 1/4"x8 or 10 Flatbar rolled to match. Nice job, I work in a steel shop so now I think I'm gonna make up something like that too!!

Did you weld that to your bumper or do you have brackets on there?

Hope you sell a couple.... i know you could use a few extra beans in your pocket.

Put some side skirts, and undertray and a diffuser on that pig and watch what the MPG's do!
