How do you tell if an injector is bad or needs replacement? I have one shop saying they are good and another shop saying that its sending a code, but I have no check engine light. Also when the truck is at an idle it makes a click noice. Thanks (i'm updating my info) 04 HO Auto with edge/juice, and BD TC and VB.
I just took ownership of the truck, I had a shop check out the truck before I purchased it and they said it needed those two injectors. But since it wasn't giving a code and ran great, I figured they were just trying to sell me. So I purchased the truck at a huge discount being prepared for the injectors and the tranny work. However when I went to start it up "cold" it did the clicking sound. Now for the past two days I've been working with the "at the time" current owner and it made no clicking sounds, but it was always warm and I never got to hear it cold until I started it after the purchase was complete.
