Excellent info. I put one in mine earlier today. I did use the resistor and put it on the ground side. It works great. I did some other work and ended up with a P0073 code. According to my cheat sheat that is for ambient temp so I don't know what's up. I did clean the air filter. I checked the connector etc and all seems fine. Anyway to clear my code? disconnet batteries? or do i have to go see someone?

The resistor seems like the cleaner way to install it. Anyone know where to find a momentary on foot switch? |

I'm kinda new to the cummins world so take it easy on me. I've heard a lot about the cummins lock up switch, but I'm not sure what its for. I know it's for lock up, but how is it useful? towing? racing? Also doesn't the torque converter have to unlock for it to shift. Seems like a lot of trouble to go screwing around and messing up the tranny.
