i need help please

hey guys, first off let me say i love the web sight. I do not post much I just like to read but I have a problem and I know that someone on here will be able to help.

My truck is an 06 auto w/6 k miles. I bought an edge w/attude and when i installed it I felt no performance gains, talked with edge and they said it worked correctly. So I uninstalled it and bought a quadzilla and still i cannot feel a performance gain, i can see more smoke but I cannot feel a difference unless I am on the high way, but even then the gain is no much.

Sence the purches of the quad i have sold the edge to a guy w/ an 06 auto and he loves the thing, he says he can smoke the tires. The only way i can break them loose is if i stand on the brake.

I feel like the trans is slipping but I am not for sure.

my mods are 5" exhaust no cat no muffler, quadzilla intake, quad race, no silencer ring, 5" lift and 35" tires

What could be the problem? Please help

You should feel something... not necesarily smoking the tires, but definate seat of the pants improvements. It is like night and day, so something is causing you to not get the power to the ground. Maybe it is your trans. I can tell you from experience that those big 35" tires kill your performance and mileage. But you should still feel the power. Depending on your future endeavors, a VB and Converter should be considered, at the least... Good luck...

If your not feeling any power from a box or programmer then something is wrong. I don't know if anyone knows how to check if the trans is slipping that badly, but I'd get it checked out somehow. And a better fuel pump couldn't hurt, and would only help in the future.

Even if the trans was slipping you would still feel the power. Are you absolutely sure that you are connecting them right? If I turn my TST on 1/0 which is just a bit of timing I can feel a difference in power.

Something is wrong.......I have the Xzillaraider 100hp box....yours is 130hp.
It's like night and day with the 60hp and 100hp setting. Sounds like the box isn't communicating with the truck...be it a bad connection or hooked up wrong...mabe even a problem with the truck map sensor wireing.....mabe quad can jump in here with some suggestions.

i live close to the quad shop went up there, had him look at it and he said it was working correctly. I think my converter is slipping bad, let me tell you why, at a stop if I floor it the boost jumps to 38# egt jumps to 700 and rpm's shoot up to 3000- 3100 and stay there unitll my trucks speed catches up enough to shift gears, once the tranns shifts into 2 nd rmps drop to around 2200 and then fly to 3100 and stay there untill my truck speed catches up........so on and so forth

6000 miles????? I'd pull any box off that truck and get it to the dealer if that's the problem.

Thats what I'm thinking... Plus earlier he said he was making smoke, so he's getting the extra fueling from the box, but the power is not making it to the ground.... Tranny time...

Or tap the #7 wire on the ROUND plug for the tranny (if the same for 06), run it to a switch and then to a 33 ohm resistor and then to ground. That will lock up the TC at the push of the button. That would get the power to the ground if you thought it was slipping.

BUT, if it is slipping, not sure how long that game would last as you would probably cook your TC.

Pull the box, head to dealer to have checked out.
