Valair DD clutch adjustment ?

Had my clutch installed for about 300 miles now. I love it! The only problem I have is it is really hard to take off in 2nd gear without the truck jerking or sometimes even killing it. I know how to drive but I bet it sure looks like I dont from other peoples point of view lol. It always takes off real smooth when I take off for the 1st time after I start the truck up but after that it gets real jerky. So my question is can I adjust the rod a little shorter and get the jerk out or is that the way the DD clutch is?
Thanks
Brian

i dont know if adjusting the rod will help, you can try it, you will have to relearn to drive your truck agian, giving it a bit more fuel when you take off. It all probably will change again after the break in or you get use to the way it drives.
